On July 24, after the “Nikos” vessel successfully berthed at Nansha Terminal Phase III, Nansha Port Area ushered in a Middle East route.
The new route, with Nansha Port as the only port of call in South China, leads to Klang, Jebel Ali and Hamad in turn. Seven 5,000TEU ships will be put into operation. It takes as quick as 18 days from Nansha to Jebel Ali and 20 days to Hamad, with a sufficient shipping capacity. (Mo Zonghui, Lin Yilun).
