On the afternoon of January 27, Guangzhou Port Group held the Symposium on Caring for Young Employees Who Will Stay in Guangdong for the Spring Festival due to Work Needs, sending warm care to the young employees who will stay in Guangdong for the Spring Festival, and encouraging them to base on their posts, to make achievements, and to contribute their efforts to the high-quality development of the Group.

 

Huang Bo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Group, Liu Yinghai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Group, and relevant responsible leaders of the Group Office, the Organization and Personnel Department, the Party Committee Work Department, the Labor Union Office and the Youth League Committee attended the symposium and exchanged cordially with the young employees.

 

At the symposium, 16 non-local young employees who will stay in Guangdong for the Spring Festival due to work needs shared their personal thoughts and insights on work, life and learning, gave suggestions for the development of the Group, and expressed their willingness to respond to the call of the government and the Group to stay in Guangdong for the Spring Festival, and to take the responsibility of the youth to build a strong fortress of pandemic prevention and control, so that their youth blooms on the defense line of the fight against the pandemic in winter and spring. At the symposium, the leaders talked with the young employees cordially, listened carefully to learn about their demands, responded to the doubts and difficulties they encountered in their work and life on the spot, eliminated their worries about staying in Guangdong for the Spring Festival in time, and sent the Group’s care and holiday blessings to them.

 

Huang Bo fully affirmed the dedication spirit of the young employees to stick to their posts during the Spring Festival and their overall awareness for staying in Guangdong for the Spring Festival. He shared with the young employees his three feelings: the first is gratification - he is gratified for the broad-mindedness and positive spiritual outlook of the youth representatives, and hopes that they will combine personal growth with corporate development, and shoulder the responsibility of the young generation for the port; the second is impressiveness - he is impressed at the gradual development and growth of Guangzhou Port owing to the efforts of generations of people, continuous improvement of the employees’ life quality, and the vigorous youth team, which are the result of everyone’s continuous struggle; the third is responsibility - Guangzhou Port carries the expectations of every port employee’s family, which is not only the responsibility of the Group’s leadership at all levels, but also the responsibility of every port employee, and he hopes that everyone gives full play to their wits at work and become a new generation of port employees to make the dream come true.

 

According to Huang Bo, the Party committee of the Group attaches great importance to the growth of young employees, creates conditions to build a rich and colorful platform for them, and calls on all young employees to take the port as their home, continue to work hard, devote themselves to the construction of a world-class port, realize their value of life, and make greater contributions to the high-quality development of the Group. Huang Bo asked the participating functional departments to do their best to coordinate and resolve the work difficulties and life concerns of the employees who would stay in Guangdong for the Spring Festival, and to do a good job of caring for the young employees who would stay in Guangdong for the Spring Festival, so that they would have a worry-free and hear-warming Spring Festival at Guangzhou Port.
