Guangzhou Port Launches the “Nansha-Yuanguang Terminal” Shuttle Bus Route (Picture)

On March 15, “Yuejiang No. 1” and “Baifu 258” ships from Nansha, which were loaded with imported rubber timber, arrived at Jiujiang Yuanguang Terminal, marking the initial launching of the “Nansha-Yuanguang Terminal” Shuttle Bus Route by the Guangzhou Port. This is the 71st service route since the operation of Guangzhou Port shuttle buses.

Jiujiang Yuanguang Terminal is located in the Shunde Waterway of the Pearl River Delta, with an advantageous geographical location. In its hinterland, there are a number of industrial parks for timber, ceramics, furniture, etc. Since the begining of this year, with the continuous increase of new foreign trade routes in Nansha, the density and coverage of routes have expanded, and the number of containers of imported timber and other goods has increased significantly. The staff of Guangzhou Port Shuttle Bus visit the customer and markets around the Jiujiang Yuanguang Terminal to promote such policy service modes as “Integrated Customs Clearance in the Greater Bay Area” and “Tax Rebate at the Departure Port”, and provide customers with efficient, economical and customized “WGO” logistics solutions in advantage of the low cost waterway transportation resources between the inland terminal and Nansha Port .

The launching of this route has opened up the waterway logistics path for import and export cargoes between the hinterland of Jiujiang Yuanguang Terminal and the Nansha Port Area of the international terminal - Guangzhou Port. It will continue to accelerate the development of green logistics in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, effectively reduce the overall logistics costs of enterprises, and provide more logistics service options for import and export companies.

It is learned that the Guangzhou Port shuttle buses currently have a comprehensive and complete service network, with routes covering Huangpu, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Zhuhai, Zhaoqing, Foshan and other places, basically realizing full coverage of small and medium-sized terminals in the Pearl River Delta.
