On October 28th, Li Yibo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Guangzhou Port Group, and his colleagues visited COSCO SHIPPING Group, and had an in-depth exchange with Xu Lirong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of COSCO SHIPPING Group. Relevant responsible persons from the Strategic Planning Department, Operation Department and Administrative Affairs Department of COSCO SHIPPING Group, COSCO SHIPPING Lines and COSCO SHIPPING Ports attended the meeting. The two parties exchanged views on coordinating epidemic prevention and control, production and operation, deepening connection between ports and shipping enterprises, and optimizing route layout.

 

On the same day, Li Yibo and a group travelling together visited China Ports & Harbours Association and had an in-depth exchange with Chen Yingming, Executive Vice President of China Ports & Harbours Association. The Secretary-General Ding Li, Deputy Secretary-General Yang Xiaoguang and responsible persons of relevant departments of China Ports & Harbours Association attended the meeting. The two parties exchanged views on accelerating the construction of a world-class port, coordinating epidemic prevention and control and port operation simultaneously, promoting the high-quality development of the industry, and building industry associations, etc.
