Recently, Jinhang Cruise of Guangzhou Haigang Business Travel Co., Ltd. under Guangzhou Port Group launched a digital RMB payment service. Jinhang Cruise realizes offline ticket window and on-board consumption by building digital RMB consumption sites. After downloading the “Digital RMB (Pilot Version)” APP and completing the binding of relevant information, tourists can directly scan the QR code to make payment. At the same time, Jinhang Cruise and Bank of Communications Guangdong Branch jointly launched a promotional activity for paying for tickets with digital RMB. The activity lasts from May 1 to August 31, providing tourists with immediate discounts on ticket purchases. Tourists who purchase tickets and consume at Jinhang Cruise in Dashatou Cruise Terminal can receive red envelopes for consumption deduction, and enjoy discounts and exemptions when settling through the digital RMB wallet of the Bank of Communications.
It is learned that in response to the call of the country and to better promote the demonstration construction of Guangzhou as a digital RMB pilot city, Jinhang Cruise of Guangzhou Haigang Business Travel Co., Ltd. has cooperated with Bank of Communications Guangdong Branch to carry out digital RMB business-related cooperation, becoming the first enterprise along the Pearl River in Guangzhou to apply digital RMB payment. While providing more payment options and more convenient and safer payment channels for the majority of Pearl River cruise tourists, the contactless payment method of digital RMB better meets the requirements of epidemic prevention and control.
