A New South America West Route Added in Nansha Port Area of Guangzhou Port (Picture)




Recently, with the successful berthing of COSCO Shipping Fountain in Nansha Port Area of Guangzhou Port, the WCSA route by COSCO Shipping SPE was officially launched, providing direct import and export services between Nansha and South American and European countries. This is another new measure taken by Guangzhou Port this year to continuously expand and improve the ocean transportation service network and actively promote the domestic and international dual cycles.

The new route launched this time is the first route launched by COSCO Shipping SPE in Nansha Port Area. According to the plan, two 60,000 DWT ships will be put into operation, with liners once every two weeks. With Nansha Port Area as the only port of call in South China, liners mainly calls at Dalian, Taicang, Port of Valparaiso, Port of Montevideo and Port of Santos, which can provide more stable and reliable logistics solutions for import and export enterprises.


It is reported that since the beginning of this year, Nansha Port Area of Guangzhou Port has launched new routes to Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Russia and other countries. The number of foreign trade liner routes has reached 150, which has become an important embodiment of Guangzhou Port Group's active implementation of the Nansha Plan and great efforts to ensure the stability and smoothness of the global supply chain. Up to now, Guangzhou Port has more than 200 container liner routes, with more than 150 foreign trade routes reaching major countries in Europe, America, the Middle East, Latin America, Africa and RCEP.
