Since the beginning of this year, Nansha Phase III has taken the fighting attitude of “taking the starting point as the sprint point and the beginning time as the battle time”, focusing on business marketing and expansion, fine production organization and development potential releasing. The terminal production has shown a continuous growth trend. According to statistics, as of the end of February, the number of completed ship operations was increased by 20.5% on a year-on-year basis, and the container throughput was increased by 16.6% on a year-on-year basis, of which the volume of foreign trade containers was increased by 16.9% on a year-on-year basis, achieving a steady start and improvement.

Nansha Phase III strengthened customer communication, seized the opportunity to fully exert the potential of terminal operations, combined with the advantages of cold storage support services in the southern part of Nansha International Logistics Center, to form the brand of cold chain express. To ensure the timeliness of cherries transportation, Nansha Phase III set up a special group to develop a targeted plan to attract new routes with premium services, so as to significantly increase the volume of imported cherries containers and make a new breakthrough on the foreign trade routes.

 

Pay Equal Attention to “Quality” and “Efficiency” to Organize Production Scientifically

 

Nansha Phase III pays equal attention to “quality” and “efficiency”. It continued to promote the optimization of terminal operation efficiency to improve port operation efficiency; it coordinated the deployment of production resources, improved berth operation efficiency and organized the operation process scientifically to ensure smooth and efficient port production operation. During the Spring Festival, the container volume was increased by 11.1% on a year-on-year basis, and the number of vessels operated was increased by 12.9% on a year-on-year basis, which has laid a solid foundation for its good start.

 

Gather Power to Keep Driving the Project Construction

 

With the rapid development of production business, Nansha Phase III continues to promote the expansion of terminal capacity. The Phase III of Automatic Yard Project passed the acceptance check at the end of 2022, and formed an automatic yard cluster with the first and second phases of the yard project; at present, Nansha Phase III is actively promoting the expansion of gates and other projects to further enhance the effectiveness of the gates and better match the business development, which can continue to provide support for terminal production, and continuously build up development power and arouse port vitality.
