Guangzhou Port Awarded the "National May Day Labor Certificate"


Recently, Guangzhou Port Co., Ltd. was awarded the National May Day Labor Certificate in the 2023 International Labor Day Celebration & the National May Day Labor Award and the National Worker Pioneer Commendation Conference held in Beijing.
 
Chen Hongwei, General Manager of Guangzhou Port Co., Ltd., participated in the 2023 Guangdong Celebration of the "May Day" International Labor Day and the May Day Labor Award Commendation Conference, and participated in the Guangzhou Theme Gala for the celebration of the “May Day” International Labor Day, as a representative of the advanced collectives of the National May Day Labor Award.

Guangzhou Port is the main entity for the construction of a port-based national logistics hub and the main force in implementing the “Nansha Plan" and enhancing the functions of Nansha International Shipping Hub; and it is the largest comprehensive hub port and international container trunk line port in South China. It has successively received awards and honors such as the Guangdong May Day Labor Certificate, the "Gold Quality” Award for Corporate Governance for listed companies, and the National 5A-level Comprehensive Service Logistics Enterprise.

At present, Guangzhou Port has a number of routes connected to over 300 ports in over 100 countries and regions around the world, with barge feeder lines connecting ports in the Pearl River Delta water system. Its sea-rail intermodal trains cover inland hinterland regions such as south central China and southwestern China, playing a supportive role in ensuring the stability of the industrial and supply chains and maintaining food and energy security.
