| Nansha Port Area is mainly located in Huangge and Longxue Island of Nansha District, west bank of the Pearl River. The port faces the South Sea and has Nanhai, Fanyu, Shunde to its east. It is situated in the geographical center of the Pearl River Delta and regarded as the necessary gateway from Guangzhou Foshan economic circle to the ocean. From a radius of 100 kilometers, it covers the whole Pearl River Delta City Complex and is the hinge node which connects cities on both sides of the Pearl River. Nansha Phase One and Phase Two Container Terminals, Grain and Multi-purpose Terminal, Nansha Automobile Terminal and three petrochemical terminals------Gangfa, Xiaohu and Jiantao all locate at this area. The development and construction of Nansha Port Area realizes the leap of Guangzhou Port from a river port to a sea port. |

| Xinsha Port Area lies on the east bank of the Pearl River and possesses 10 deep water berths for container, coal, bulk grain, automobile and bulk cargo with 2,000 meters quay-line. Xinsha Automobile Terminal is the departure port for Honda (China). BMW, TOYOTA and HYUNDAI vehicles also are imported into China from here. Xinsha Coal Terminal is a leading port for coal handling in South China. Its operation efficiency ranks the top among the terminals of the same kind. Xinsha Grain Terminal interacts with the rear Grain Silo by Central Government and is one of the most efficient and profitable grain terminals in South China. |

| Huangpu Port Area includes Guangzhou Container Terminal, Xingang Terminal, Xiji Terminal, Hunagpu Old Terminal and Petrochemical Terminal. Major cargos include container, heavy piece, large bulk and oil products. Guangzhou Container Terminal is one of the earliest container terminals in Mainland China, with 3 berths of 35,000 tonnage class and 645 meters quay-line. Xingang Terminal is mainly engaged in cargoes like bulk grain, steel and break bulk, with 5 berths of 35,000 tonnage class and 937 meters quay-line. Xiji Coal Terminal, the largest professional coal terminal in South China, has 2 berths of 35,000 tonnage class and barge terminal. It is an important energy resources transshipment port in South China. Petrochemicals terminal is specialized in handling petrochemical products. The aviation fuel of Guangzhou Baiyun Airport is transported and transshipped from here. Huangpu Old Terminal has 10 berths of 10,000 tonnage class with 1,852 meters quay-line, mainly engaged in large and heavy bulk cargos and containers operation. |

| Downtown Port Area includes Xinfeng, Henan and Dashatou terminals. In recent years, Downtown Port Area has initiated to shift from cargo handling to commerce and service industries. Huangsha Aquatic Products Trading Market has become one of the third largest aquatic products wholesale markets in China. Port Plaza is the largest riverside square in Guangzhou. Taigucang will become a new cultural industry area of Guangzhou. |
