GZTOS Independently Developed by Guangzhou Port Launched in Guangzhou Yunfu International Logistics Port

Recently, the container terminal operating system (GZTOS) independently developed by Guangzhou Port was officially launched in Guangzhou Yunfu International Logistics Port, laying a solid foundation for the initial operation of the terminal. This is the seventh stop for the GZTOS to be applied to small and medium-sized terminals in the group, and also an important milestone for the informatization construction of Guangzhou Port and empowerment of the allocation of port resources in the province. At present, GZTOS has covered multiple terminals, operation areas, and railway stations within the province, and supports linkage across operation areas.

It is learned that different from traditional container terminal operating systems, the GZTOS uses the “Software as a service” application mode to effectively improve the efficiency of adaptability between software development and terminals. In view that the Duqi Operation Area of Yunfu International Logistics Port covers both container and bulk cargo business, the GZTOS has the corresponding functional modules and realizes ecological interconnection with the Group’s application systems through the Guangzhou Port Data Center, thus achieving simultaneous expansion with Intelligent Guangzhou Port.

Guangzhou Pot' s Data Technology Company attaches great importance to the promotion and application of the GZTOS in Yunfu International Logistics Port. Since April, the research and development team has gradually completed customized function adaptation development, intelligent gate software and hardware integration commissioning, and system operation presentation and training through the online and offline combination method, achieving the official launch of the GZTOS in Yunfu Duqi Port.

In recent years, focusing on optimizing services and strengthening management, and aiming to optimize the port operation management system, Guangzhou Port Data Company has continued to advance the promotion and application of the GZTOS in small and medium-sized terminals in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, helping to build a linkage development pattern with Guangzhou Port as the core, the ports in the coastal economic belt of western and eastern Guangdong as the wings, and the ports in the Pearl River system as the ties, and empowering the construction of the integrated port and shipping logistics hub with intelligence and digitization.
