On October 10, Guangzhou Port's first C1 class fully automatic digital intelligent stereoscopic warehouse successfully passed the joint acceptance. This project marks a major breakthrough for Guangzhou PSA Logistics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as GPL) in the field of intelligent warehousing, providing assistance for the development of the import and export trade of the “new three” and new materials, and promoting the intelligent and green development of port logistics.
The fully automatic digital intelligent stereoscopic warehouse that has passed the acceptance this time is an important measure taken by GPL to actively respond to the national intelligent manufacturing strategy and promote the upgrading of the logistics industry. The stereoscopic warehouse covers an area of 6,000 square meters, with a building height of 23.5 meters and designed storage spaces of about 16,000. It is expected to have a storage capacity of over 16,000 tons and is currently the largest Class C1 single automated stereoscopic warehouse in Guangzhou.
The warehouse adopts an automated unmanned operation mode of "stacker crane + shuttle car", which realizes automatic recognition of equipment, automatic scanning, and automatic confirmation without human intervention. With high accuracy, it can reduce manpower by half compared to traditional warehouses. Clean energy equipment is used inside and outside the warehouse, integrating technology and environmental protection elements such as photovoltaic power generation and rainwater collection. The roof of the stereoscopic warehouse is covered with photovoltaic panels to meet the overall electricity consumption of the warehouse, and it is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 1,500 tons per year. In addition, rainwater collection and recycling facilities will be built on the ground to promote the recycling of water resources, assist in the implementation of the national "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" green development strategy, and achieve the unity of economic, social, and ecological benefits.
By integrating advanced technologies and equipment such as dataization, intelligence and greenization, this warehouse, together with the container terminal in front, has formed a logistics model of "port in front, warehouse at the back" and “road-railway-waterway" multimodal transportation.
During the acceptance process, the relevant departments conducted strict tests on the various functions of the stereoscopic warehouse, including the stability of the shelves, the operating efficiency of the automated equipment, and the reliability of the safety system. After multiple rounds of testing and evaluation, the acceptance team unanimously agreed that the stereoscopic warehouse meets the design requirements and complies with relevant national and local standards and specifications.
