Tripled! One Environmental Protection Business Item Achieves Leapfrog Growth


According to information obtained from the production line, in January this year, the Port & Shipping Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. signed new agreements for ship pollution response (hereinafter referred to as “SPRO”) with over 1,700 ships, achieving a leapfrog development with a year-on-year increase of 342%.

The SPRO agreement is an emergency standby service agreement signed between a ship pollution response unit and a shipping company. As a unit with first-class qualification for ship pollution response in Guangzhou Port waters, since 2023, Port & Shipping Environmental Protection has continuously enhanced its pollution response capabilities, optimized the SPRO agreement signing service process and marketing methods, and provided emergency standby services for docked ships. In the event of emergencies, it can carry out pollution control and removal actions in a timely manner, winning the favor of more and more shipping companies with strong capabilities and high-quality services.
 
It is reported that in recent years, Port & Shipping Environmental Protection has been making efforts both domestically and internationally, with its SPRO business achieving significant progress. The number of ships signing annual and short-term agreements with the company in 2024 increased by over 400% on a year-on-year basis, and its SPRO business doubled at the beginning of 2025. It is learned that in the next stage, the company will continue to play the role of a leading enterprise in water pollution response in Guangzhou Port waters, further optimize the emergency standby mechanism for oil spills, and provide more efficient emergency response and support for Guangzhou Port water.
