Recently, Wang Yongxin, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Merchants Energy Shipping Co., Ltd. (CMES Shipping), and his delegation came for a visit. Wu Chao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Guangzhou Port Group, received visiting guests at Nansha Automobile Terminal. Both parties had in-depth exchanges on roll-on/roll-off, container transportation, ship refueling, full logistics and other fields, jointly discussing new paths for the coordinated development of the port and shipping industry chain, and working together to empower the upgrading of the international shipping hub level in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao-Greater Bay Area.
Wu Chao warmly welcomed Wang Yongxin and his delegation, and expressed gratitude for the long-term support provided by CMES Shipping in the roll-on/roll-off and container transportation fields. He stated that in recent years, Guangzhou Port Group has accelerated the implementation of the “hub + corridor + network” strategy, made every effort to build a full logistics supply chain service system, and continuously improved the integration of supply chain elements and resource allocation capabilities. CMES Shipping, as the listed flagship enterprise of China Merchants Group in the shipping industry, is an important partner of Guangzhou Port Group. In the future, Guangzhou Port Group will continue to improve its collection and distribution system and port service capabilities, fully supporting the business expansion needs of CMES Shipping.
