Deepening Cooperation Between Hebei and Guangdong to Set a New Benchmark for Green and Smart Ports

At Hebei Port Group, Huang Bo and his delegation met with Cao Ziyu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Hebei Port Group, among other leaders. The two sides reviewed their long-standing, solid partnership and the fruitful results they’ve achieved together. Guangzhou Port and Hebei Port Group have maintained a strong business relationship, particularly through their joint venture, Tangshan Port Hede Shipping Company, which has launched multiple high-quality integrated domestic and international shipping routes that carry both domestic and foreign trade cargo on the same vessel, as well as e-commerce express services connecting North and South China and extending overseas. Both parties agreed to deepen their cooperation and set a new benchmark for green and smart ports. They also discussed plans to jointly expand shipping networks, enhance cargo hinterlands, and stabilize bulk cargo shipping channels.

Enhancing Tianjin-Guangdong Collaboration to Strengthen the "Three Ports and One Shipping" High-Speed Corridor

In Tianjin, the delegation visited Tianjin Port Group and met with Chu Bin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Tianjin Port Group, among other officials. The focus of their discussions was the "Three Ports and One Shipping" Maritime High-Speed FAST Premium Route, which was launched in 2025. Both parties agreed to build on this initiative to further strengthen cooperation in key areas such as standardizing container business processes, sharing data and information, and improving vessel efficiency. They aim to create a more resilient and efficient north-south shipping corridor. Additionally, the two sides discussed how to support national strategies, particularly the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. They exchanged ideas on optimizing container shipping networks, expanding ro-ro services, accelerating digital transformation, and enhancing the service and support capabilities of industrial and supply chains.

During the visit, Chairman Huang Bo also held talks with Li Yan, General Manager of FAW Toyota Logistics Co., Ltd., to discuss the company’s 2026 production and sales plans, logistics needs, and future development.
