Guangzhou Port Co., Ltd. Signs Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with Ansteel Lianzhong and SITC International


 
Recently, Guangzhou Port Co., Ltd., Ansteel Lianzhong, and SITC International signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement at the Port Center and held a seminar on deepening port–shipping–enterprise collaboration and jointly building a new supply chain ecosystem.
 
Huang Bo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Guangzhou Port Group; Zheng Lingtang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Guangzhou Port Co., Ltd.; and Ma Jinqi, Deputy General Manager of Guangzhou Port Co., Ltd.; Zhang Guoqiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Ansteel Lianzhong, Wang Jinhui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager, and Wen Leliang, Deputy General Manager; as well as Yang Xianxiang, Chairman of SITC International, Xue Mingyuan, Chief Executive Officer, and Lai Zhiyong, President of Logistics, attended the ceremony and witnessed the signing.
 
Under the agreement, the three parties will establish a comprehensive strategic partnership focusing on key logistics sectors, including steel products, raw materials, and container transportation. Through resource sharing, business coordination, and innovation in operational models, they aim to jointly build a stable, efficient, and environmentally sustainable supply chain service system.
 
During the seminar, Zhang Guoqiang noted that as a major stainless steel producer in South China, Ansteel Lianzhong has long been committed to the coordinated development of upstream and downstream industrial chains. Guangzhou Port, with its strategic location and strong hub capabilities, provides a solid foundation for cooperation. Looking ahead, Ansteel Lianzhong will take the signing of this agreement as a new starting point to deepen collaboration in raw material imports and finished product exports, jointly explore integrated logistics service models, continuously enhance supply chain resilience and efficiency, and help the manufacturing sector reduce costs and improve productivity.
 
Yang Xianxiang introduced SITC International’s global shipping and logistics network layout. He emphasized that Guangzhou Port serves as a core strategic hub for SITC International in South China and that the two sides have broad prospects for cooperation in container transportation and integrated logistics services. In the future, SITC International will work closely with Guangzhou Port to strengthen collaboration in shipping network optimization, logistics channel development, and cross-border e-commerce logistics, jointly creating an efficient and convenient supply chain corridor.
 
Huang Bo welcomed the delegation led by Zhang Guoqiang and Yang Xianxiang and expressed his appreciation for the long-standing trust and support from Ansteel Lianzhong and SITC International. He noted that Guangzhou Port is accelerating its transformation from a traditional port service provider into an integrated logistics and supply chain service platform, with a focus on building a modern logistics system characterized by “hub + channel + network.” Ansteel Lianzhong and SITC International are leading representatives of the manufacturing and shipping logistics sectors, respectively, and are highly complementary partners for Guangzhou Port.
