Recently, Guangzhou Port Co., Ltd. and China Certification & Inspection Group Guangdong Co., Ltd. (CCIC GD) held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony at the Port Center, followed by a session of discussions and exchanges. The two parties aim to focus on high-quality development and social well-being, leveraging their respective advantages in resources, technology, talent, and market access to promote a comprehensive, broad-ranging, and multi-level strategic partnership.
Attendees at the signing included Zheng Lingtang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Guangzhou Port Co., Ltd.; Li Mingzhong, Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager; Chen Hongyu, Deputy Chief Economist; Su Liming, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman, and General Manager of CCIC GD; and Liao Mansheng, Deputy General Manager. Heads of relevant departments from both parties also participated in the event.
Su Liming emphasized that, as central state-owned enterprises, both CCIC GD and Guangzhou Port Co., Ltd. share a solid foundation for cooperation. This signing represents a significant step toward fulfilling the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission's (SASAC) directive to "facilitate the economic circulation". The partnership aims to create a new ecosystem for service chains. CCIC GD will apply its professional expertise in third-party quality services, working alongside Guangzhou Port Co., Ltd. to offer a "one-stop" service. By integrating their resources, both parties aim to enhance the port business environment and contribute to cost reduction and efficiency improvements for enterprises.
Zheng Lingtang extended a warm welcome to Su Liming and his team, highlighting Guangzhou Port's achievements in port development, business layout, and future strategic planning. He noted that the collaboration between Guangzhou Port and China Certification & Inspection Group Guangdong has deep historical roots and great potential for the future.
