“Two Majot Annual Tasks Half Finisded”! Guangzhou Port Completes Over 1 Million TEUs Containers through Barge Transportation Business (Picture)

Since the first half of this year, the Shipping Company has focused on the improvement of the service level, vigorously promoted service quality and efficiency improvement, optimized process management and brand service enhancement, made every effort to improve efficiency and increase market share while stabilizing and expanding existing transportation volume, and successfully completed the production target for the first half of the year. From January to June, the Guangzhou Port Shuttle Bus completed a cumulative container transportation volume of over 1 million TEUs, which is 50.4% of the planned volume this year, with a year-on-year increase of 9.6%, hitting a record high and successfully achieving the target of “double over half”.

Accelerate the improvement of service capabilities and enhance the brand of "Shuttle Bus"

Since this year, the Shuttle Bus has accelerated the pace of “going out”. With the Pearl River inner branch lines combined with coastal routes, and guided by customer service needs, it has accelerated the optimization of the cooperation mechanism of “fast shipping between two bays”, upgraded the domestic trade routes by using large ships, carried out transportation of domestic and foreign trade goods on the same ships, and further enhanced its service capabilities. In the first half of the year, the container transportation volume of the “fast shipping between two bays” routes increased by 26.8% on a year-on-year basis.

It has strengthened the logistics chain business, vigorously expanded multimodal transport, enhanced comprehensive logistics service capabilities throughout the entire process, launched the "Shantou – Nansha" and "Yangjiang – Nansha" coastal cooperation branch lines, and extended coastal booking services to multiple ports in the north.

It has strengthened the capacity building of the service team and successfully won the bid for CCA services from multiple domestic and foreign shipping companies such as Maersk Line. Among them, the Shuttle Bus ranks among the top in Maersk's South China CCA service providers, further gaining customer recognition for its service brand.

Promote new business models and expand cooperation “circle of friends”

In combination with new models such as the "Integrated Customs Clearance in Bay Area", cloud yard, transportation on the same ships, and WGO business, it has vigorously promoted the container transportation volume growth of pulp, wood, and other goods. In addition, It has learned about key customers' WGO business needs in a timely manner, successfully developed its business in the "Nansha – Zhuxi" region, and obtained new customers such as Yuegang, Baoya, and GAC Commercial Vehicles, further demonstrating the advantages of Shuttle Bus WGO business services. In the first half of the year, the Shuttle Bus WGO business saw a year-on-year increase of 1.3%, and the transportation volume of commercial vehicles increased by 216.7% on a year-on-year basis.

It has deepened communication with customers, smoothly promoted the adaptation of companies such as Midea and Oma to the normalized operation of cloud yards, and strengthened the attractiveness of the cloud yard model to shipping companies. Focusing on the development of the Nansha route, it has promptly promoted the launch of the "Gaosha - Nansha" integrated customs clearance outlet and Xinsha and Zhuhai Xiyu cloud yard outlets, further improving the convenience and cost efficiency of customer service. As of now, the Shuttle Bus has achieved normalized operation of 18 “integrated customs clearance" outlets and 5 cloud yard terminals.

Build a collaborative platform and establish a barge service network

In the first half of the year, relying on the overall marketing and service network advantages of the Group, the Shuttle Bus actively explored the establishment of a “joint” service platform for the Pearl River Delta barge network. It has deepened strategic barge cooperation with Antong Logistics, built a Pearl River Delta barge cooperation platform with Antong and Wuzhou, formed a regional domestic trade service network in the Pearl River Delta, and launched boutique routes such as Huadu and Huangpu routes. By effectively integrating network barge resources, promoting the connection between network terminals, implementing fine management and operation of shipping routes, and effectively promoting the “dual improvement” of ship operation efficiency and stowage rate, it has provided strong support for the upgrading of the container collection and distribution system in Nansha Port area and the construction of the “big port, big logistics, and big network" channel in Guangzhou Port.
