Guangzhou Port Group Visited Port and Shipping Enterprises in Shanghai and Attended the North Bund Forum 2025


 
Recently, Huang Bo, Party Secretary and Chairman of Guangzhou Port Group, led a team to Shanghai to visit port and shipping enterprises, including China COSCO Shipping Corporation, Maersk Group, Louis Dreyfus, and Worldwide Logistics.
 
During the meeting at COSCO Shipping, both sides reviewed the achievements of their multi-level, cross-sector cooperation and provided updates on their current operations and future development plans. Their discussion primarily focused on topics such as optimizing the liner shipping network, deepening supply chain collaboration, and strengthening cooperation in green port and shipping. Building on their existing cooperation, both sides agreed to explore collaboration within the port and shipping industry chain, jointly establish a regional feeder network, and develop new models of cooperation to achieve even greater results. Wan Min, Chairman and Party Secretary of COSCO Shipping Group, Lin Ji, Vice General Manager of COSCO Shipping Group, and other key personnel from the group's departments, COSCO Shipping Ports, and COSCO Shipping Lines attended the meeting.
 
During the meeting at Maersk, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as the "Twin Stars" Collaboration Plan and the joint development of intermodal transport service products. Ms. Rabab Raafat Boulos, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Maersk, attended the meeting.
 
During the meeting at Louis Dreyfus, both sides reviewed their strong cooperation over the years and discussed the future trends in agricultural product and food supply chains under the new economic and trade conditions. They also addressed issues such as ensuring the stability and security of the grain and oil supply chains, expanding intermodal transport networks, and fostering collaboration on emerging products like coffee, juice, and cotton. Chen Jiayuan, CEO of North Asia Region, Louis Dreyfus, and Li Ji, COO of the company attended the meeting.
 
During the meetings at Worldwide Logistics and Haijie Shipping, both sides discussed the operation of Arctic shipping routes, logistics for engineering projects, and logistics solutions for cross-border e-commerce in emerging markets. Lin Jie, CEO of Worldwide Logistics, and Li Xiaobin, COO of Haijie Shipping, attended their respective meetings.
 
During the visit, Huang Bo attended the North Bund Forum 2025 and the China Ports & Harbours Association's Symposium for Senior Executives of Major Port Enterprises.
