Recently, Guangzhou Port Co., Ltd. and Xiamen Xiangyu Steel Industry Group Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement at the Port Center and held discussions. The two parties will carry out strategic cooperation on supply chain services related to the steel and other industrial sectors, jointly promoting optimization of the supply chain system and development of industrial ecosystem. Ma Jinqi, Deputy General Manager of Guangzhou Port Co., Ltd., and Zheng Luyu, Deputy General Manager of Xiamen Xiangyu Co., Ltd. and General Manager of Xiamen Xiangyu Steel Industry Group, attended the ceremony and signed the agreement. Heads of relevant departments from both sides also participated in the activities.
Zheng Luyu stated that Xiangyu Steel is committed to building a highly efficient and collaborative supply chain service system. As a major logistics hub in South China, Guangzhou Port possesses strong resource advantages and a strategic geographic position. He expressed his expectation that both parties will fully leverage their respective strengths in resource integration, logistics networks, and information services to further enhance overall supply chain efficiency and service capability, thereby better meeting market demand.
Ma Jinqi welcomed the visit of Zheng Luyu and his delegation. He noted that Guangzhou Port is actively advancing its shift from conventional port services to comprehensive logistics and full-chain supply chain solutions.
